Rest in Peace Your Highness

Your Royal Highness, today the 29 April is a day you left us and returned to the ancestors. Its a day of remembrance for me. When people around me are celebrating freedom day, I am mourning your departure.
Your Highness, I Hope you are looking down at me from up above smiling as you see me putting my best effort in my everyday life, trying to be the best I can be. You may not be here physically but my thoughts are always with you and memories of you are still fresh... It pains so much to face the fact that for the rest of my life I will go through without you, it feels like yesterday when you were with me and it just hurts me so much when I remember you in your bedroom the day you last shared your wisdom with us. Today I still struggle with the fact that you are not physically here. I just want you to know that you are still the No.1 father to me and I will always love your highness.

It hurts so much that I think of you everyday and deeply miss you.
May you soul Rest In Peace

It is a poor idea to lie to yourself.

"fitting small underwear"

We are all a bunch of pathological liars and hypocrites. The easiest person to lie to in the entire world is somebody who should know very well, yourself. For example;  We say we want honor, dignity and  respect, but we wear small under wears in public places . We say we want health food, but McDonald's still make billions each year. We say we want to work satisfying jobs, but end up chasing after the biggest paycheck. indeed life is full of contradictions.

I am no different. I also have plenty of contradictions between what I truly believe and how I behave. And anyone who says he doesn't is lying to himself.

People in the comfort zone lie to themselves to make themselves feel better about their situation. Steady income to fulfil the basic needs is indeed important but there is something more important in life, to seek and live ones passion. Many people in the comfort zone knows what their passion is but result not living it until its too late. Continue lying to oneself will mean that you result becoming the person that you did not want to become. However, we lie to ourselves to make ourselves feel better and escape from the reality of situations. The lying keeps us in comfort zone.

When we stop chasing the wrong things we give the right things a chance  to catch us. We can consult what we know is true, and use that to guide us, instead of living a lie. Indeed it is a poor idea to lie to yourself beause we result hurting ourselve and those close to us.

I need space

"church"

I’m tired. I just don’t have the ability to keep up with the cover-up of “church” anymore. I love God, I am crazy about living into the Kingdom of God, and I desperately want to be with the body of Christ, but I just can no longer keep up with the systems and structures that go along with all of that. I know it’s cliche to talk about wanting to be the church as opposed to merely doing church, but right now all I see are the structural cover-up (businesses) and they are overwhelming.

It’s not that any one branch of the church is to blame whether megachurch, mainline, or housechurch all seem bogged down with the idea that the church exists for its own sake. The point seems to be to perfect the performance, hone the ritual, grow the structure so that the church can survive and thrive. It’s all (in theory) so that the church can bless its members and be able to serve the world, but all too often it seems like the forms of church become the purpose of church consuming all of our vision and energy. The actions of church don’t reflect the things I claim to believe and yet they demand all our attention. And I just have to confess that right now I am worn out.

I’m not interested in building structures right now or expressing unwavering loyalty to any religion. Instead of constantly shoring up structures, I feel like I need the space to mourn. I need the space to hear of the struggles of the body of Christ and the trials of inhabiting God’s Kingdom without the distractions of having to protect a structure.

The sound of one hand clapping.

"hand whopping"
http://randomsays.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/hand.jpg

There isn't any such thing as one hand clapping and never has been. Possibility of one hand trying to clap in the air is low, barely detectable whoosh sound. If you are not clapping against anything, you are not clapping for anything either, because you are not clapping you just waving.

In reality one hand cannot clap. Also considering that it takes two things to produce a third product (sound). The sound of one hand clapping is the sound of the other hand, the absent or invisible hand that claps because one hand cannot clap, there can only be two hands clapping. However, one hand clapping can be about peace in oneself or being able to be mindful. Being still as if nothing else matters or interferes. We are all unique and alone in this life and 'one hand clapping ' can be peace within ourselves.

Therefore, the 'sound of one hand clapping' would be the energy of one hand moving through space. Once they unite, that energy is transformed in the form of sound.

Justice or injustice

"scales of justice"
justiceandequality.co.za

Injustice is what angers people most. If we can do nothing about it, the anger turns against ourselves. nothing is more harmful than helpless stress.  Equally shared love is justice because both sides enjoy more or less equal satisfaction. Frustrated love joins the stress of injustice

A child's love is not justice, it is necessary. A parent's love is an instinct. social connections which form families, friends, neighbours are not based on justice but on reciprocal interest and competition. There can never be justice in competition, only victory of the stronger or  have a better advantage. In business, common interest between all stakeholders is considered justice. In societies justice is base on self-manufactured logic. However in other societies empathy is included which adds to justice a delicate sense of charity, pity, and solidarity.

On the other hand pure justice is based on the logic which determines right or wrong in the situation. The trick is that nobody accepts being wrong and if the wrong one is stronger, then very quickly the quest for justice becomes an exercise of power using Justice as an excuse. In this light, the victim of injustice becomes even more a victim because there is an infinity of means to punish the weaker. in societies, discipline is usually firm because punishment can be very painful. Right justice is like very beautiful flowers but without empathy they remain dangerous, self-congratulating and often disposed to cruelty.

Not all who wander are lost.

Plenty people assume "wandering" means going about without a purpose. So, those who wander are either lost or have no meaning in their lives. Therefore, Not all who wonder are lost is a  phase meaning that while you are lost you can find some of the most precious things you ever wanted in life. For example business people wonder around the world in search for good business opportunities.

It a fact, We all wander under the shadow of the sun. Our lives are a constant wonder. We wander this universe in search of something. We do not even know what it is we are searching for; nevertheless, we continue to put one foot in front of the other, stumbling occasionally, but onward we go. With the help of God, friends, and the universe, we will all find our way together in some form. We do not know, but we must enjoy our journey, for we only get one chance. The cynic may be right in the end, but the optimist has a better time during the trip.

Some of us wonder with purpose. People wonder because they still have something to learn from their wondering. Subsequently, some people are searching for peace and richness. They are trying to find answers to their lives. They are not lost but wandering for a purpose.
